This $11.5 million project consists of repairing the damaged portions of Fish Creek Road, ten public access roads, and Fish Creek trail (16,000 LF) that were damaged during the September 2013 flood. The total length of the Fish Creek Road corridor is approximately 4.5 miles from Highway 7 (SH 7) to U.S. Highway 36 (US 36) in and near Estes Park, Colorado. The total length of the damaged segments of Fish Creek Road is approximately 1.5 miles and the total length of damaged trail is 3.1 miles. The work includes culvert replacements, concrete box culverts, riprap, pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, creek stabilization, road resurfacing, grading, soft surface trail, concrete sidewalk, and curb and gutter.
