This project was a critical infrastructure for a small Oklahoma Community. One of the City’s water supply reservoirs was experiencing large leaks to the spillway, this project was needed prior to a large scale failure of the spillway.
Selling Points
To minimize sediment issues to the Lake SEMA came up with a innovative method to construct the temporary cofferdam reducing any change in lake turbidity. SEMA also came up with methods for bypass pumping during large rains that did not require any mechanically driven assistance.
Major Achievements
During construction SEMA was able to provide VE Ideas to the owner that allowed for accelerated schedule and reduced cost.
Savings
SEMA worked with the owner to come up with savings on the project that amounted to $300,000.
