Yet another iconic, award winning signature interchange delivered by the SEMA Southeast team. Having previously constructed the signature interchange at the southern entrance of Orlando International Airport, it was only fitting that SEMA constructed the signature interchange at the northern entrance of OIA. This award winning interchange was constructed during the heigh of the COVID-19 pandemic, making certain aspects of construction very challenging. Our Southeast district rose to the occasion, using the lower daily traffic counts to accelerate the project schedule. Our team even completely eliminated multiple MOT phases and we were able to deliver the project 6 months ahead of schedule. At project peak, our team broke the SEMA corporate record billing the client for upwards of $14M in a single month!
