Dams & Reservoirs

Drainage & Flood Control

SEMA provides infrastructure conveyance and storage solutions for storm and surface water management. SEMA constructs conveyance systems using all types of pipe materials and diameters exceeding 120-inches. Our construction services also include concrete and earthwork associated with storm drainage structures, channels, manholes, inlets/outlets, vaults, tunnels, dams, levees, intakes, stilling basins, and spillways. In addition, SEMA Precast is a producer of gasketed precast box culverts and other specialty precast fabrications which can provide custom products and technical service to support of construction services.

Environmental Services

Construction that improves and protects. We provide remediation, reclamation, and containment construction solutions to industrial, mining, commercial, and government clients. Our projects have included the construction of cap and cover containment systems, liner containment systems, collection and treatment systems, waste consolidation and relocation, heavy-metal and asbestos abatement work, and site reclamation of impacted sites.

Structures

The knowledge to build complex things safely and quickly. Bridges, box culverts, and retaining walls are a few of the structures we build. SEMA is known for having built some of the more interesting bridges in the industry. On the I-270 flyover project in Denver, for example, we designed an alternate solution to traditional steel girders: curved, precast-concrete U-girders. Each weighing 240,000-330,000 pounds, this was the first use of this type of girder anywhere in the country.
