  • Role and Responsibilities

    As Corporate V.P., Contracts Manager, Steve is dedicated to protecting the interests of all stakeholders - owners, trade partners, suppliers, and SEMA - by ensuring contracts are fair, transparent, and aligned with project objectives. Reporting directly to T. Brett Ames, CEO, Corporate and District President, California, Rocky Mountain, Texas and Mid-Atlantic, and executed with integrity, Steve manages the review, negotiation, and execution of trade partner agreements, purchase orders, and lease contracts, ensuring they serve the best interests of every party involved.

    Steve plays a critical role in risk mitigation and compliance, ensuring that all contractual agreements meet legal, regulatory, and financial standards. His expertise in contract structuring and negotiation secures equitable terms that promote project success, financial stability, and long-term relationships. By fostering collaboration, trust, and alignment between stakeholders, he reinforces a shared commitment to delivering quality infrastructure safely and efficiently.

    Beyond contract management, Steve works closely with internal teams and industry partners to develop solutions, address challenges, and optimize contract efficiency.     Faith, family, country, and company shape Steve’s values. As passionate boaters, both he and his wife, Deana, enjoy trips to the Bahamas, Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Keys and many other boating destinations throughout Florida. Music is another love of His. He was a member of a touring choir for 6 years and has been a member of a few different Southern gospel quartets over the years. Steve and his wife both enjoy attending Southern Gospel Music Conventions and taking cruises that emphasize and embrace faith, family and fellowship.
