As Senior Vice President, Texas District, Robert Stevens leads SEMA Construction's Texas operations, providing strategic direction and executive oversight for the district's business development, operations, financial performance, and project execution. Reporting to T. Brett Ames, CEO and President, he is responsible for cultivating client relationships, expanding SEMA's presence throughout Texas, and ensuring every project reflects the company's commitment to safety, quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
With more than 35 years of heavy infrastructure experience, Robert is recognized for his expertise in alternative delivery, collaborative contracting, and complex transportation infrastructure. His extensive background includes Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Progressive Design-Build, and Joint Venture leadership, enabling him to guide multidisciplinary teams through challenging projects while balancing risk, schedule, cost, and stakeholder expectations. Robert works closely with clients, design partners, and project teams to develop practical solutions that deliver long-term value for the communities SEMA serves.
As the leader of the Texas District, Robert is committed to developing exceptional people, strengthening operational performance, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
