Role and Responsibilities
As Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Tim Ackerman ensures SEMA’s financial health and operational efficiency align with the company’s long-term strategic goals. Reporting directly to Brett Ames, CEO, Corporate and District President, California, Rocky Mountain, Texas & Mid-Atlantic, he oversees accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury, banking, and financial compliance.
Tim fosters strong relationships with financial institutions, industry stakeholders, and key vendors, ensuring SEMA has the resources to support business expansion and long-term stability. His focus on financial strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency allows SEMA to make data-driven decisions that drive growth while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
