The $10 million project was located on the right abutment of the existing Dam No.1. This new outlet works consists of the following primary features: 123-foot high intake tower and prefabricated steel truss access bridge; 780-foot long tunnel with a welded steel liner encased in concrete; downstream conduit; new flow meter vault; and a valve structure.
